PHR Center for Electrolysis, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Lori J.Arena, B.S., CPE. After doing much research, Tarrytown was to be the home of PHR. The quaint charm of the village and its historical background seemed ideal. Located in the heart of Tarrytown, it is perfect for residents to not only make their scheduled PHR appointments, but also to complete their errands at the U.S. Post Office, CVS, local banks and even stop in for a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner at any of the fine eateries Tarrytown has to offer! As for out-of-towners, Tarrytown’s Main Street is a world in of its own. You will find fabulous, Zagat rated restaurants as well as beautiful antique and specialty shops. The infamous Tarrytown Music Hall offers amazing shows and films.

As for your Board Certified Electrologist...
The journey began in September of 1997 when she enrolled in the New York Institute for Electrolysis School in NYC. Graduating at the top of her class, she sat for the Board exam in February. Lori was granted her CPE status and fulfilled her life long dream of opening her own business. Sheer determination lead to a five year goal and in 2003, PHR Center for Electrolysis became incorporated.
Lori proudly served as the VP of Membership ('05-'07) and the chairperson of the Consumer Awareness/Education Initiative ('06-'07) for the New York Electrology Association. She received her Competent Toastmaster Award in May 2005 from the Sleepy Hollow Toastmasters organization. She has made several presentations educating the public on Electrolysis and is a paid speaker for the American Electrology Association.
She has been a Westchester resident for the past thirteen years and enjoys all the beauty it has to offer.
